Directions to San Mateo Performing Arts Center

The San Mateo Performing Arts Center (SAMPAC) is near the intersection of highways 101 and 92. Access from 92 can be difficult, especially on concert nights. If traffic is expected to be light, 101 is fine. However, traffic is sometimes nightmarish on Thursdays and Fridays, and taking Delaware Street directly from 92 is much safer and doesn't take very long.

Note to orchestra members: Delaware can become gridlocked with cars shortly before concerts. If you are running so late to a concert that you need to arrive after 7:40, taking El Camino is the safest bet.
