These competitions foster excellence in young musicians aged 10-18.
Young Musicians' Competition
Open to High School Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors in San Mateo County & Santa Clara County Schools.
FIRST PRIZE - $500, plus a solo appearance with the Peninsula Symphony
on Saturday, June 23, 2012, Hillview Soccer Field, Los Altos
SECOND PRIZE - $200
THIRD PRIZE - $100

Marilyn Mindell Piano Competition
This piano competition honors the life and work of Mrs. Mindell who was a major force in the Bay Area music community for over forty years. It features two competitions levels: the Junior level, ages 10-13, and the Senior level for High School students.
